The safety and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance to us. We are constantly keeping track of COVID-19 guidelines from the World Health Organization and the local health departments. In light of these unprecedented times, we have ramped up our safety measures. Please read on to find out all about the safety practices in place at Ananta Hotels & Resorts.
GUEST TRANSPORT
- We ensure that chauffeurs are wearing protective gear such as masks, gloves etc.
- We will provide sanitisers for sanitation & masks to guests if required.
- Vehicles will be disinfected after every arrival from outside the hotel.
- We encourage the use of a guest vehicle for pickup & drop on their own.
- We will instruct chauffeurs to restrict themselves to the minimum conversation.
LOBBY ENTRANCE
- Body temperature checks will be done at the entrance.
- If the body temperature reads more than 98.6°F, the guest will be asked to return or directed to the closet hospital/ medical facility as per policy.
- Sanitisers will be provided for hand sanitation & masks too if required.
- Record-keeping procedures will be followed at the front desk, as per health authority guidelines.
RECEPTION
- Any guest arriving from restricted countries or regions will have to provide detailed information to the hotel upfront before arrival or at the time of making the reservation.
- For all pre-booked guests, all check-in formalities will be completed online to minimize contact & time spent at the front desk.
- Safety guidelines to ensure social distancing & minimizing contact with others will be given.
- Newspapers will not be delivered due to safety reasons, but e-papers could be made available through Whatsapp etc.
- Our staff will be trained regarding hygiene norms.
- Sanitisers will be kept for guests to use & also alcohol swabs will be made available which guests can use to sanitize cell phones, credit cards, etc.
- The front desk will be sanitized continuously in shifts
ELEVATORS
- Elevators will have markings with directions on the floor so that guests do not face each other & maintain appropriate social distancing.
- We will ensure that safety instructions are followed, including the number of guests allowed at one time as per SOPs.
- The elevator floors & inside areas will be sanitized.
- Hand sanitisers will be available inside the elevators.
GUEST ROOMS
- Due to social distancing norms, alternate rooms will be allocated (if required), based on the occupancy level.
- A tent card mentioning that the room & other touch points have been sanitized & mentioning the name/ photo of the housekeeping associates will be placed.
- Housekeeping associates will wear safety gear on the floor.
- No turn-down services will be provided to facilitate minimum movement & contact.
- Room linen will be changed ONLY on request in the occupied room.
- Floors will be sanitized at regular intervals & small fixed/wall-mounted sanitiser in the room/ washroom will be placed.
RESTAURANTS
- The number of tables will be reduced to maintain social distancing norms, based on the occupancy level.
- Arrival instructions & contact numbers will be given at reception to ensure that guests come down to the restaurants only when the tables are available to avoid crowding.
- You may wish to avoid buffets initially and opt for either “TDH” or “a la carte”.
- The staff will maintain minimal contact/communication during services.
- Disposable napkins/serviettes will be used.
- Sanitisers will be kept for guests to use & also alcohol swabs will be made available which guests can use to sanitize cell phones, credit cards, etc.
POOL, GYM & SPA
- These areas will be closed till advised to open, as per government norms.
- The number of guests allowed in the area will be limited based on the maximum allowed.
- Each desk, equipment & work area will be disinfected after the guest has moved out.
OTHER GUIDELINES
- The business centre, meeting rooms, banquet area etc will be disinfected after use.
- Enough space will be maintained between the consecutive tables & chairs with minimum seating capacity.
- At the front office, a separate check-out area will be created if it’s getting overcrowded.
- All indoor areas such as lobbies, corridors, staircase, escalators, elevators, security booths, offices, cafeteria etc will be mopped with 1.0% sodium hypochlorite or phenolic disinfectants minimum 2 to 3 times a day.
- Important Note: - Domestic Travelers from all states need to carry an RT-PCR negative report, the test needs to be done within 72 hrs from the check-in date. If travellers have taken 1 dose of vaccination, RT-PCR will not be required. A vaccination certificate needs to be submitted at the time of arrival.
